appcli

Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 11, 2026

appcli ("the app") is a command-line tool that runs on the user's own computer. This policy explains what data the app accesses and how it is handled.

No data collection by the developer

appcli has no server, account system, analytics or telemetry. The developer does not receive, collect, store or share any data from the app's users. All requests go directly from the user's computer to Apple and Google.

Google user data

When the user signs in to AdMob with Google, the app requests these OAuth scopes:

This data is used only to carry out the command the user runs, and the result is shown to that user in their terminal. It is not transferred to the developer or any third party, not used for advertising, and not sold. appcli's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Storage of credentials

The OAuth refresh token, API keys and service-account keys the user provides are stored only on the user's computer, in ~/.config/appcli with permissions restricted to the user (0600). Short-lived access tokens are cached in the same directory. Nothing is stored anywhere else.

Deleting data and revoking access

Run appcli auth logout all to delete stored credentials, or remove the ~/.config/appcli directory. Google access can be revoked at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
